WHAT ABOUT BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S?
Having Breakfast at Tiffany‘s is now a reality, thanks to The Blue Box Café, located inside Tiffany’s flagship store on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue. Named after the Tiffany Blue jewelry boxes, the luxurious Cafe pays homage to the 1960’s classic “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” while allowing fans to indulge in a fine-dining experience, encased in diamonds.
A TIFFANY BOX COME TO LIFE
The café experience has been described as “a Tiffany box come to life.” Richard Moore, vice president creative director, revealed to Vanity Fair, “design of the space began from the idea of immersion in Tiffany.” Chief artistic officer, Reed Krakoff, utilized the brand’s trademark “Tiffany Blue” to bring the “immersion in Tiffany” concept to life.
The refined and simple design is everything a Tiffany customer would come to expect. Everything from the walls and chairs to the plates and salt and pepper shakers are covered in the trademark blue with hints of sliver located on the tabletops and quartzite accent wall.

AMAZONITE “THE NATURE VERSION OF TIFFANY BLUE”
The walls of the café are decorated with Tiffany blue trim and amazonite, which Moore describes as “the nature version of Tiffany Blue”. It’s very name –Amazonite—evokes a sense of the exotic. Imported from Brazil, the quartzite stone features an extremely rare cerulean green mineral whose watery beauty has been recognized throughout generations.
Surrounded by shades of lighter green, gray, and black, and the occasional veins of complimentary colors, Amazonite’s vivid color combinations gives it a lush and dramatic appearance.
Applications
The most popular uses for Amazonite are interior walls, interior flooring, bar tops and countertops in both commercial and residential properties. The stone is also suitable for exterior applications where
conditions are below freezing.
